Joe is committed to creating economic opportunity in every corner of Illinois' 16th District. He supports working families, farmers, small businesses, and unions, and promotes fair, humane immigration reform that strengthens the workforce and economy. He believes in clean energy investment, climate action, and green jobs.
Joe will work to expand access to affordable quality healthcare and strengthen Social Security and Medicaid. He will ensure veterans and first responders receive the care and support they've earned, including mental healthcare, while maintaining a strong, smart national defense.
Joe believes democracy should work for everyone, not just the powerful few. He will fight to protect and uphold the Constitution, defend the rights of women and marginalized communities, promote fair trade, rebuild trust with global partners, and increase government transparency and accountability.
Joe believes women deserve full control over their bodies, equal opportunity in the workplace, and protection from discrimination and violence. In Congress, he will stand up for policies that affirm and expand women's rights.
